Bay View Bar and Grill’s Bryan Mu says there’s a little bit of everything at his popular waterfront restaurant.
You will often find Bryan busy in the kitchen making dishes that have been satisfying his customers for nearly two years now.
“If you’re really hungry, we have big meals to fill you up and if you want something small we have plenty of options as well,” he says.
Bryan describes his eatery as a “mix of Asian and local cuisine”, but prides himself on his fresh seafood.
Bryan says the deluxe seafood platter will not disappoint, while the grilled Atlantic salmon or barramundi is also popular.
Old favourites such as the good old chicken parmigiana, soups and a fine choice of burgers will keep even the fussiest of eaters happy.
If you don’t feel like a full meal, Bay View has coffee and cake specials, and is open for breakfast.
You can simply drop in and have a coffee and a light snack or a full meal any time of the day.
Bryan says he makes good use of local produce and his menu is evolving all the time.
“Portarlington mussels – there’s different ways to cook them and we have a lot of local wines,” he says.
“We always stock our popular fresh jumbo oysters, with a choice of fresh, Kilpatrick or mornay.”
With outdoor dining that takes full advantage of the views over Geelong’s waterfront and family friendly dining, Bay View Bar and Grill has something for everyone, Bryan says.
The fully licensed Bay View Bar and Grill, located on Eastern Beach Rd, is open daily from 8am until late.
